Update on the County Fair entry

I won a Blue Ribbon at the Ventura County Fair for my Hollywood-themed squished penny collection!

(In the cause of fair reporting, I must also mention I was the ONLY entry in the category. My BF keeps telling me I shouldn't mention that, but I think it makes for a better story) I also got a check for $10, which can pay for 20 more squishes!

Any other fair entrants win ribbons out there?

That's really cool Lucinda! I have entered my fair every year for the last 4 and usually win something. The collections are a lot of fun. A friend of mine entered some of her Peanuts items and got a blue this year too.

PS You got $10.00? They don't give $ in OC. Oh well...

I was totally surprised. I have entered needlework in previous years and only got $1.00 (I didn't even cash the check. . .:o )
