Well established supper club has openings to accept some new members. We have lost a couple of our old friends/wonderful cooks to moving and matrimony, so we now have room to meet some more great women! We are a group of single and coupled, outgoing, professional gals who range in age from mid 20s to early 40s. Geographically we're spread all over, but largely in West Seattle and the downtown to Shoreline corridor. We love to cook, to eat healthy, to socialize, to drink wine, and to have fun! We meet the second Saturday of each month and mix up the menus and format for each get-together. We focus on the magazine recipes and themes, but do allow "outside" dishes as long as they're light. Recently we have shared a Mediterranean style Garden Party, CL golden oldie favorites, the Spring Blossom Brunch, and a Sushi Party. There's always room for another cook and cocktail in the kitchen. Please respond if you'd like to join us!

Are you still looking for members? I live in Everett, but work in Seattle, and would be willing to travel to participate in good food and wine. :) E-mail me at Theresegdvm@aol.com and let me know.

Hi there - I would like to know if you still need people for your supper club? Is it always in West Seattle at someone's house?
Thanks
Jan

I would also be interested in joining. I recently moved to Seattle from NYC and think the combination of meeting more people while cooking and enjoying good food sounds great.

Hi. Are you still looking for members? It sounds as if there is a lot of response to your posting. I am very interested in joining. You can email me directly at kelyta_98@yahoo.com or post a message if that is better.

Hello!
I'm not sure if you're still taking new members, but I would be very interested in joining your group. I live in the Ravenna/Wedgwood neighborhood. I recently relocated from Portland, OR where I was in a cooking club and miss the food and camaraderie.

If your club is full, is anyone else interested in starting another club in the Seattle metro area? If so, reply to tamd2@hotmail.com.

Tammy

Hi all! Sorry about the delay in getting back to you. I'm JUST (like yesterday) returning from a two week vacation, and what a nice surprise to see all the postings! We'd love to have each and every one of you. I just need to check in with the group to find out what the date of our next meeting is and I'll shoot you all an email with the details. Thanks again for responding, and we're really looking forward to meeting you all!

Our meeting this month will be at my house in West Seattle, and we're going to try the Puerto Rican Block Party menu from the new issue. I'll send you each an invite to our Groups site where you can access the database, get all the logistical info and get yourselves signed up. Please feel free to email me directly at paradigmprincess@yahoo.com if you have any questions or any trouble getting onto our Supper Club page (it's happened before, sometimes we have to send out a few invites). Really looking forward to meeting you all.

I've sent you all email invitations to join our Yahoo Groups site. Once you've joined, you can sign up on the database for the meeting and get all the other information. I don't have email addresses for bonviv, wv02 or qa0001. If you're still interested, please let me know so that I can include you as well!

Hi! My name is Robyn and my boyfriend Peter and I both just moved out here. I'm originally from Atlanta and Peter is from the Bay Area. We love to cook new recipes together and would love to meet some people who share our interest. We're both 28, laid-back, interested in international foods and travel. I've been a long-time Cooking Light fan and Peter's gotten hooked ever since he got me a renewal on my subscription. We're probably too late for the September meeting and will have guests through much of October, but let us know if there'd be room for a couple in your group for the November meeting and thereafter . . .r:)

Hi Lynnz,

I am wondering if your Supper Club is still looking for new members? I am single and love to cook, and cooking is so much more fun when shared with others! So many of the clubs seem to be on the east side or too far south, but your group is as Goldilocks said "just right!" I am very interested in wine pairings with foods, and love the opportunity to experiment with others to compare opinions. So food and wine with new friends would be just the best way to start the New Year!

I hope that you are having a wonderful Holiday Season with your family and friends!

Merlot :)

I know that this is beyond the scope of your invitation, but I am interested in a cooking club in the Seattle area too. I am in my late thirties, married with 3 kids, and live in the North end. We recently moved here from Portland, and I miss the comraradie of my book club and dinner clubs! Please let me know if you are still accepting members, or if anyone out there would like to start another club.

I would be interested in joining your supper club....if you've got too many, I'd be interested in joining up with others in the area - I live in Edmonds...love eating, drinking, being merry!

Hello Ladies,
I was so surprised (and happy) to see the new responses! I'm afraid that I've been remiss in checking the site over the holidays. Our next meeting is scheduled for Saturday, January 15, at my place in West Seattle. We're doing a Greek wine tasting (got our own wine expert in the family). We're each bringing a bottle of Greek wine for tasting and a Greek dish. Please shoot me an email at paradigmprincess@yahoo.com if you can make and I'll send you all the details. Have a safe and fun New Year's Eve.
Lynn
