I finally got around to trying these (from 9/00 CL). They were quite tasty! I made these for a play group snacks and even the moms liked them. My only quibble is that the peanut butter chips did not melt in such a way that you can drizzle them over the top. My thought for the future is that I'd switch to chocolate chips and make a lower-fat version of Scotcheroos!
We really enjoyed these too! I gave up on the drizzling and just spread the melted chips over the top...same taste, just not as pretty (and a whole lot less work!).

I loved these too. I didn't even attempt to melt and drizzle the chips - just stirred them whole into the rice krispies while I was mixing it all up. My husband LOVED these. A definite keeper.

I've made these several times using chocolate chips on top instead of peanut butter chips (which I'm not a big fan of). They taste great, but a day after I make them, the chocolate discolors and becomes brittle. This has happened with both Nestle's and Hershey's chips. Any suggestions on keeping the chocolate "fresher"? What if I mixed in some butter?

When I made these the first time, I drizzled the melted peanut butter chips over the top and then brought them to a party. Well, the drizzled chips hardened and then just sort of fell off. I made them again, but left out the melted chips. They still taste good to me!
