Please forgive my memory, and the search function is failing me so far, but some dear soul posted a recipe for Swiss Chard saute last fall. I just now http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/eek.gif got the chance to try it, and it's fabulous.
You saute minced garlic, diced carrots and diced onions in butter (I used a tiny bit of olive oil). The recipe also called for cubed potatoes, but I was looking for something quick, and I didn't feel like peeling the potatoes. When the veggies are crisp/tender, you throw in the torn chard and diced stems and cover to let it steam. At the end you add 3 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar, crushed red pepper, and salt as desired.
It was so good, I'm glad I have enough for a second batch!!
So, whoever's recipe that is, please accept my thanks (and my apology for forgetting you!!)
