Hi everyone! How about if we all get together? I posted a thread for the Frisco/Colony area and got a reply from MNGirlTX in the Addison/Carrollton area - that makes 5 of us and a nice size for a supper club! Would anyone be interested in getting together at a restaurant for introductions? :D

Do you actually live downtown or in uptown Dallas? I work at Coit/Beltline which is very easy to travel to downtown if you are willing to venture to other parts of DFW.

To everyone else....
I am open to a weeknight and/or a weekend nights with some planning like a monthly gathering on let's say a first Friday of the month(only a suggestion or example)(that way if we are having too much fun I can sleep in;-) on Sat.) I wouldn't be able to meet this Friday but can Sunday or even Monday(holiday). Just another suggestion for a gathering place - old stand by LaMadeleine or Starbucks - to meet but open to another place as I like surprises.

Hi nDallas and tinkedwards! I was hoping to hear from you soon!! No, we haven't set a day to meet yet, just throwing out some times that would work for each of us. I agree with tink, though, that the weekends would be best so that if we stay up too late, we can sleep in the next day!! And, I too am open to meeting places - I love coffee and Starbucks! :) I live only a few minutes from the North Dallas Tollway and Preston, so it's easy for me to travel into many parts of Dallas.

Why don't we plan to meet either this Sunday (the 5th) or next Friday (Sept 10)? How does that sound? We can introduce ourselves and decide how we want to organize to cook and have fun!

I am actually to the east of downtown (2 miles), between downtown and Lakewood.

Considering what night is picked, I might be able to drive other places. I work until 6 and getting anyhwere up north might make for a late start time.

I would love to meet with you guys just to talk about it though.

I also can meet this Sunday. 6pm? Galleria area?(I'm coming from Coppell which is west of Dallas) If that area is ok there is a Starbucks either in the Galleria(2nd floor) or behind the Galleria - Alpha/Noel corner with outdoor patio. What about the others??

I can do Friday the 10th. I work in Addison near Beltline and the tollway, so the Galleria works fine for me, too. And, I can adjust my hours - I usually work 9 - 6, just because I like to sleep in...but I can work 8 - 5 if need be.

I'm hoping I can make it to Starbuck's tonight, but work/traffic may interfere. In case I can't make it, I just wanted to let y'all know that I am still interested. I was thinking that if there are too many of us for one supper club, we could do two supper clubs based on geography (maybe even have some get-togethers with everybody). Just an idea to think about.

Kay (and Diva)- We did meet on Friday! There were 8 of us and we had a very good time talking and getting to know each other. We are planning to meet again at a wine tasting on Sept. 25...I don't have that info right in front of me, but if you e-mail or PM me, I'd be happy to send it along to you.
