The boards here are the best place to start! Get into the right geographical file and put the city/state in the title: "New club in Olney, Maryland." (You'd be amazed at the number of people who post "Starting new club!" and don't list the city.)
If you don't get much response, you can check some local resources. Maybe your city newspaper (or alternative paper) has some online bulletin boards. Maybe there's a bulletin board at a specialty or gourmet grocery.
I'm pretty sure the key to starting and maintaining a successful supper club can be summed up in one word: FUN. Do it because you enjoy it, find people of like mind, keep rules to a minimum, and be flexible.
Good luck,
Nancy

We've just passed one year with our Montgomery County (with 1 exception in Frederick) club; one of our members took a job out of the area and we're looking to grow a bit - we now have 5 regulars. Our next dinner is 7 pm Nov 17 and we're meeting in Rockville, off Twinbrook Pkwy. Let me know if you're interested in attending!

Do you want to start a club with me? We live in Columbia right now but will be moving to Glenwood, Howard County( North of Olney) next Spring/Summer. I emailed emrcook to see if I could join there but it might be easier if I just start one.

I've never been a part of a supper club - is there a "typical supper club". What's involved in starting one?
