I feel like I should know how to do this but I am having a brain freeze. Can it be done? Any idea on times and method?

TIA

Yes...I know it can be done because I have had great corn on the cob from the microwave but I can't recall the time it takes to cook. Sorry!

I put two corns (husk and all) in microwave 5 mins.

1 ear husked and rolled in a paper towel = 3 min in my microwave. Comes out perfect every time. Increase time as Vanessa said when doing more than 1 ear.

I prefer this method as it is to hot for easily removing husks/silks after cooking.

Thanks fo the info guys!
I ended up wrapping each ear in paper towel and nuking for 3 minutes each. It worked well- sadly the corn did not turn out to be of the best quality but that had nothing to do with the cooking method!:)

Corn in the husk, trim a little off the bottom. Place in shallow
microwavable dish, cover with saran, turn down one corner, micro on High, 4 min. per ear, if you have a lot of ears, you can cut down on the time. Always cook mine that way, had some tonite!

I cook mine in the microwave with the husks on. Once cooked, the husks and silk just peel right off. I cook them about 2-3 minutes per ear and then let them sit for a few minutes. The cob is what heats up, so when you let them sit, they continue to cook as well as stay warm while you're eating them.
