HI,
I live in Walnut Creek and I am interested in starting a group. I am a single parent of a beautiful 6 year old and would like to start a group who also made one kid friendly meal. Let the kids try new things also? What do you think? If you would be interested please let me know. You don't have to have kids to join in though. :)

I live in Danville and am also a single parent (12 & 15). I would be interested in a supper club that included the kids or just adults. I also have a friend that lives in Concord without kids that has been looking for a supper club.
Kari,
I may be interested in joining you. I have two daughters, ages 9 & 12. I'm not sure if I would being them along or not--I'd have to wait and see, but I would still be interested in making the kid-friendly entry. I'm not sure what is involved in the supper club, but I'm willing to get together and see what happens.
Let me know if you get some more replys and we'll see where it goes from there.

I currently live in Santa Clara, but plan to move to Pleasanton within the next month or two. I am interested in joining a supper club. I am 25 and not a parent, but I do like kids. I'll be out of town for about a week, so please forgive me if any response to any messages is delayed.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for the interest!!! It sounds like we could start out small and grow from there. I thought we could meet in a local restaurant and discuss some of our ideas and how we would want the group to work. Are weekends or weeknights better? I was thinking Thursday the 23rd of September at Pyramid Brewery in Walnut Creek. MAybe around 6:30ish-7? I also have a friend who is interested in joining. So it looks like there are 4 of us maybe 5. I am deffinately open to receive feedback and ideas!!! Especially if you want to meet somewhere else. It is just too hot for coffee! :)
Thanks!

Kari:
I already have plans that night (book club). Maybe the following Thursday night instead? Also, I would need it just a little later. My older son is playing football this year and I can't pick him up and make to WC until between 7 and 7:30

I can meet the 30th or the 16th. 7:30 works also. We could make it a different night as well. I am pretty open my daughter has soccer on Friday's. So any other night besdies that. Once we meet we can compare schedules and figure something out. :)

Either one is okay with me. Lets see what everybody else says. Only night that is consistently bad for me is Wednesday nights (Hebrew School/Teen School). I sent this thread to my friend as well.

I live in Concord and have been looking for a local supper club in the area! I don't have kids, but an open to the mix in the supper club.
I'd love to meet to plan more. I see that some dates have been thrown out. I am open, but the 23rd is booked for me as well...

Well,
It looks like the 23rd isn't going to work. So how about Tuesday the 28th? We can get together and make some plans?

Works for me. If we are meeting in WC...I need it closer to 7:30 though so I can do the football practice pick-up.

Hi All,
the 28th at 7:30 it is! How about meeting at Pyramid Brewery. It is on main st. It shouldn't be too crowded and we can probably get a big table. I am open to other suggestions though too. Let me know and I look forward to meeting you all!!

Tuesday the 28th at 7:30 sounds fantastic! Does anyone know about how long it takes to get from Pleasanton to Walnut Creek? I'm not too familiar with the East Bay yet.
Also, how will we know each other?
I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Depending on traffic no more than 30 minutes. You will need time to park though. So...I would give yourself 30 to 40 minutes total (assuming you don't have a long drive from your house to the freeway). If you want, you can come to my house in Danville and we can drive together.

This is deffinately a go and sounds like we are going to have a little crowd. I will make the reservations and let them know we are meeting for a cooking light group. The host will know where we are sitting. I am looking forward to this!

I live in Orinda and am real interested in joining your supper club, if there is still room available! Unfortunately, I won't be able to make the meeting on the 28th...any chance you all could let me know what's up after you meet?
Thanks!

Hi Sandi,
I think we should have room for one more. I will be putting together an email list to keep us all in touch and remind us of get together's and menus. After this meeting I can email you and let you know what we decide. Then you can decide if you are interested. my personal email is kadonaldson@hotmail.com. You can email me there and then I can get in touch with you after the meeting. :)

Unfortunately, I won't be moving to Pleasanton after all, so an East Bay Club won't work for me. Best of luck, everyone.

I will probably be a little late in getting to this meeting. Just wanted to give everyone a head's up. I'll be leaving an event in Oakland around 7, so I'll do my best to get there as soon as I can. Look forward to meeting everyone.
