Ugh, when it rains it pours.
My cousin is getting married tomorrow, and my entire family (2 parents, 4 sisters 1 BIL, 1 sister's boyfriend and 1 yellow lab) are decending on my house. This is fine. I have Sister/BIL/dog and 2 other sisters staying here. Everyone else is staying in a hotel.
We had a babysitter lined up to watch DD during the wedding and reception tomorrow, and she called me today - she has the flu. Can't babysit. I appreciate her calling me and can certainly understand that she's not up to caring for a very active 9 month old baby but it still leaves me in a lurch.
And I have been getting sick for the past few days. My throat is sore and I have been sneezing and coughing and just generally feeling cruddy.
And I have all of my family coming over to my house tomorrow morning for brunch, so I'm home cooking right now while everyone else is out to dinner (DD is in bed).
Ugh. I'm just whining. Now, I need to check the ham, make a crust for the quiche and get the french toast ready.
:)
