These are tasty, but I wish i'd made them more savory than sweet or at least savory-sweet. I wrote a positive and hopeful review of these until I used them for their intended purpose -- to go in a spinach and goat cheese salad. I hoped that their sweetness would balance the spinach and the tartness of the Dijon vinaigrette, but they were just too sweet for me. I can't think of another purpose for them now! I may just take them to work and let my co-workers have at them...

I make something like this recipe and use them crushed as an ice cream topping. Yum!

We had these at our supper club a couple of months ago. They reminded me of pralines. I thought they were yummy! Mmmmmmmmm.

I really liked these pecans. They were indeed just like candy. But regarding pecans for you salad, have you seen this thread? It might have a recipe for something more suitable.
