Just wondering if a rocky road bar recipie calls for marshmallows for the topping, can I use marshmallow creme instead?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I have no idea what the answer is. I personally wouldn't make that substitution. I think there would be a difference in texture/consistency of the final product, if not a difference in taste.
But I don't know.
The main reason I answered was to bump this to the top to see if anyone else has an answer for you.

no too sure about the rocky road bar, but when i make rice krispie bars, i always use the fluff & they are softer & gooey-er, if that is a word, but my sister in law always uses the marshmellows, the texture is different but still good. i say, use what you have.

The creme is very hard to spread on raw dough, so it depends on what the recipe says. It also seems to melt more, so you might end up with huge glops and then a melted mess. Just MHO.
