Snickerdoodle Muffin (one more time)

A friend found Cinnamon Chips at the Super WalMart and bought ne 4 packages. I was finally able to try the Snickerdoodle Muffins and am so happy to say that they have lived up to all expectations! DS declared them the best muffins he's ever had (next to the Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffins!).

Just had to share in my excitement!

I agree - very, very good. I finally ended up making them this past Friday - and they turned out just beautifully. They tasted wonderful, of course, but what I loved best is they came beautifully out of the muffin tins - nice to have a pretty as well as tasty muffin!

Oh - and to add to my experience - the only thing I'd change next time I make them is the amount of topping - I definitely think 1/3 cup sugar is too much - I didn't even use half of it. Maybe try with turbinado sugar instead.
