I made the Creamy Mushroom Chicken from the April 01 issue last night. It was wonderful and easy to make. I would recommend it. Did anyone else try this recipe yet?

Hi donelyk, I just made some yellow crook neck squash. I sauteed it in some butter Pam and sprinkled some garlic salt on it. It was wonderful!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

I made this last night and I'm afraid I have to give it just an average rating. It was easy to make and nice to look at (looked just like the picture in the magazine) but I thought the sauce was lacking in flavor. Perhaps with some more seasoning... I served it over the noodles and steamed some broccoli.

I liked it, too. But...it didn't drive me wild. The ease of making it was what made it better.

Hi Peggy and pmmahan, yeah maybe more spices would make it more flavorful. I did put some fresh garlic in mine as I love garlic in just about anything. I bet some other spices would be great too. I think this is one of those recipes that would be fun to experiment with. Maybe even some fresh spinach might be good? Just some ideas. I'm actually not that good at experimenting. Too chicken I guess. No pun intended!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
