anyone have any super yummy recipes for quiche? any hints, ideas, suggestions?
oh - and do i need any special bakeware to make one?
tx!
First off, now that our search engine is back working, may I suggest you run a search (upper right-hand corner just below "Post Reply") and type in quiche. And, if you also search our general archives (archive: archive) you will find Lorilei's wonderful recipe for spinach/mushroom quiche.
There are many wonderful recipes already stored if you know where to look!
Good luck.

thanks, gail. i usually use the search functionality built in to the bbs... but this time (was frantic... or is it lazy?) and went right to the source. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
so, my question now is, most often quiche recipes call for pastry/pie crust - can i just use a regular pie plate - or is there a certain kind of bakeware that is most typically used for a quiche... i'm having people over for brunch... and would like to try and do this kinda right!
tx.

YOu can most certainly use a pie plate for a quiche. They are sometimes made in tart pans but a pie plate works just as well.
