This recipe was posted a few weeks ago.
It calls for 1 cup of chopped onions but then doesn't say what to do with the onions -- do I scatter them over the chicken in the crockpot?
Thanks

I believe they go on the bottom of hte crockpot, to keep Mr. Chicken's butt up out of the juice that will be created. I never do the onions, I always just put in a couple balls of aluminum foil to serve the same purpose. (The onions would no doubt be delicious, but DBF can't have them and I don't like to taunt him with stuff he can't eat)

Thanks Gilga -- I'll just omit. I'm sure they would be tasty but would essentially just be onion flavored chicken fat :)

I always toss them out after cooking. They may add to the flavor a bit, but the chicken already has so many spices I'm sure you won't miss them. I love Sticky and Psycho chicken. Time to dust off the crock pot now that it's starting to get chilly again!

How big are the wads of aluminum foil by the way.
Are the packed down?
