Any ideas for fun costumes fur me and DH?I'm going to a Halloween party where there will be families with children, so I don't want anything risque! Last year a couple came as Sigfried & Roy, which was hilarious. I'd like for us to do something with a little humor, but not over the top or in too bad of taste. Any ideas?

I have this gorgeous Mardi Gras devil hat that has flames out of feathers on it. This year I am going to be a devil in a blue dress. ;)

I was thinking of Sonny and Cher or Neo and Trinity then I found the above link so you can check and see what suggestions they have.

Neo and Trinity
Thanks for that link. I was thinking of Trinity too but the costume I found was $229!!
However, I'm really not at all a Trinity - I'm short and blond (not to mention not nearly as thin)! Chuck at least has the dark hair going, but he's short too. Maybe we could be mini-Matrix or something?? :D

For something easy, one year my husband and I bought matching red button down shirts and carried around paint brushes. We were a couple on trading spaces!

Last year DH went as a corpse and I went as his rich widow.
For DH, I went and bought a suit at a thrift store, cut and burnt holes in it, and dusted it with flour and sewed fishing worms to it. He also wore a white dress shirt that I tea stained and a cut up old tie. He let me streak his hair with white make up, and make his face pale with black eyes.
I wore all black with a black fake fur, black hat with netting that covered my face, red fingernails and lipstick, and lots of flashy rhinestone jewelry.
Pretty cheap to do, and a lot of fun. DH kept telling people I nagged him to death. He also carried around gummy worms to give out to people. He is QUITE the cut-up!!

Missi, that is a great costume idea! I may have to steal it!

I was at a party where the guy was dressed as Freud - white coat, etc - and she had on a black lace negligee.
They were a Freudian slip.
