I know I am going to say "duh", but I have seen this in several threads and for the life of me, I have no idea what it means. I give up - what is it?

It means Thanks In Advance.

There was a really neat website that gave the meanings of lots of these abbreviations, but I've mislaid it. Likely someone will drop by with it soon.

Thank you, I hope someone does pop in with the other common abbreviations.

Thanks, Pam. In case you print this, be aware there are 12 pages of stuff.

Bob! I figured you, of all people, would at least join me in looking at this thread title and immediately thinking "Hmm, you know, I have a bottle of Tia Maria in the liquor cupboard too, I hope she gets some good ideas for its use....."
