I am relatively new to this board. I have seen many people talking about MasterCook. I am not really sure what that is. Is it software for your computer? I found a website that is called www.mastercook.com, (http://www.mastercook.com,) is that the same thing? Just wondering.

We are all talking about software published by Sierra. There are different versions featuring different cookbooks or collections of cookbooks, but each features the same recipe management and nutritional analysis features. Versions 5.0 and higher have an import assistant that make it easier to add your own recipes (including those you copy of this BB). I recently saw MasterCook Cooking Light 4.7 for "free" plus a large shipping charge (if the price is about $10 or less, its an old version). You can get the new 6.0 Cooking Light version for about $20-25 before the one year CL subsription rebate. For more info, do a search on this BB and you'll come up with several threads.
