apricot almond muffins

I made these last night (subsituted cherry jelly) I may have done something wrong, I only had enough batter to make 6 muffins. The recipie calls for 12 muffins. Any ideas as to what I may have done wrong? They taste great!

That's funny, I made these too and I also used cherry. I think it is something about cherry and almond together that I like. Any way, I followed the recipe, except for the type of preserves, and got 12 beautiful, tasty muffins. I wonder what went wrong with yours?
