Okay, you all talked me into driving for an hour to try this stuff. I brought several bags back to my school and watched it instantly disappear in the staff room. We're planning to over it from Rob's website. Has anyone done that? What about their other snacks? Any suggestions?

Sorry, so far I've only tried the Pirate's Booty, which is great. On an earlier thread somewhere on this BB, several people said they didn't like the Veggie Booty; one person said it was good. I don't know what other products they have -- keep us posted on how you like what you wind up ordering!

I just tried Veggie Booty and liked it. The more I ate, the better it got. I would get it again.

Finally, an ally to Veggie Booty!! Thanks Norma! As I've posted before, I like the Veggie Booty better than Pirate's Booty and my son agrees with me (that's almost a first for him!). Try it, you may like it. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

McSix, I just ordered some from the website week before last. I haven't received my order yet so I sent them a response back to the confirmation they sent me. They said it would be here by next week and that they had just shipped it out that day. I guess they've been having a lot of orders come through and they're backed up. I actually have a store near by but I wanted to get the single serving size and they don't offer that at the store. So, I decided to order it from Rob's website. It's wonderful isn't it? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

How do I get to Rob's website?

My Grand Union is becoming a Stop and Shop after this Saturday http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif. Guess I'll have to order from the website too. Grand Union had all kinds of gourmet type foods that nobody else carries. I sure will miss it. I was in there 3 weeks ago and they were out of Pirate's Booty- and not restocking. Very sad for me.

Thanks to the CL BB I finally tried Pirate's/Veggi Booty. I shopped at TJ's and brought them home 2 nights ago. My Fiancee who hates anything that says low fat (and probably still doesn't realize it) loves the Pirate's booty. In fact, I had about a 1/3 of one bag, while he finished that bag off and finished another one as well. I opened the veggie booty yesterday, and just like Norma, the more I ate, the more I liked it.

Now we have a somewhat healthier alternative to chips (that my fiancee actually likes!!).

I didn't love veggie booty - althought I felt very healthy eating it.

However, I have to disagree with mlou, I really like the fruity booty. But to each her own. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I love 'em both! Thought the Veggie Booty very good...my husband and sister decided they didn't like the Pirates Booty based on the name! My sister said she wouldn't buy it...go figure.

Trader Joes only carries the two so far...here's hoping for more!

I think that thanks to this BB, my TJ's is out of stock of Pirates Booty http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/mad.gif (J/K)

I do like veggie booty, and have an un-opened bag of fruity booty (sounds like a rap song) in the pantry.

Speaking of Pirate's Booty, I did get my order. They don't even charge you for shipping and handling! It was just $24.00 bucks straight! I got the individual serving bags so they'll last longer and hopefully not go stale!! Although, I don't know about the rest of you, but it's never around long enough at my house to go stale!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I'm headed to my mom's (Washington State) soon and will hopefully make it to a Trader Joe's to buy some. If I really like this stuff, I'll be doing the mail order thing. I so far have been unable to find it in Hawaii.

BosunsWife, when you get to Washington, depending on where your family lives, the best TJ's is in Bellevue, near the Crossroads Center. She'll know where that is! I've been to a few of the other TJ's in the area and they don't carry as much stuff.

I'm crazy about the Pirates Booty, but when I was at TJ's they were out of every other type of Booty. Would someone explain what the Veggie and Fruity are made of? I mean, Pirates is puffed corn/rice. Is the veggie puffed veggies? Ground veggie flour puffed up? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/confused.gif I eat a snack mix called 'Just Veggies' now and then that is freeze-dried vegetables, but this Booty thing has me wondering!

Jewel--I usually go to Trader Joe's in Federal Way. Is it really worth going to Bellevue?

Kentgirl, I forgot exactly where you are... (cause you said you weren't in Kent anymore!) I live in Renton. I've been to the TJ's in Issaquah, and they are really limited in their stock. A friend of mine up north goes to one near Snohomish or Everett, and she said their stock is limited too. Seems both of us go to Bellevue. It's not that far a drive for me.

Heck, if you're finding everything you're looking for in Federal Way, then stay with it! If you're in the Bellevue area you might stop by to check, but don't make a special trip. It's on the corner of 156th and 20th in the Longs Drugs Shopping Center.

How 'bout this rain, huh??? http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/rolleyes.gif I guess we needed it!

We tried the Pirate's Booty and the veggie Booty and liked them both.......so, the next to TJ's we grabbed the Fruity Booty. The bag didn't even make it home! We ate the whole thing between TJ's and home. Dangerous stuff, but good!

I'm ordering the single serving Pirate's Booty today....single serving to keep me from eating an entire bag at a time. I'm amazed by how good this stuff is!

Thanks Jewel--
My Mom lives in Auburn, and I usually go with her, so Federal Way is much closer.

I've been happy with the one in Federal Way, but I wondered if Bellevue carried more items. I'll have to trek up north and check it out. Thanks!

No rain yet this morning....thank goodness!

Their Potato Flyer's are good too! I get those and Pirate's Booty at a local health food store. Unfortunately the shelf is often bare(all sold out), so I may have to check out that web site too. Thanks!

I'm waiting (foot tapping impatiently)! I ordered some and I'm having a hard time waiting for it to arrive. I called all over Houston and no one sells it here.
