I am planning to make the blueberry french toast. I was wondering can i speed up the bread to dry up. Could i put in the oven for 20 minuets at 200 or so? any ideas about this would be great since i am makinig it tonite for tomarrow for a breakfast for the parnets and kids tomarrow.

I've done something similar for bread pudding and it's worked out great. Just slice or cut into chunks (whatever the recipe calls for the bread to look like) and pop it in the oven for a bit to dry it out. Keep an eye on it too, so it doesn't burn.
Is that recipe the one that calls for cream cheese as well as the blueberry?
I am making for the ESE breakfast tomarrow, i am also making the lemonblueberrt muffins from last year and the strawberry pecan scones as well.
as a recent thread pointed out yes i do live in my little world here. At least i am not alone in my thinking of food and communtity.
