my mom was just admitted late yesterday to a major university hospital in Philadelphia for liver failure. It has been going on for 5 weeks and she is finally where she needs to be but... we will be leaving this afternoon to visit her. Prayers are most appreciated, she is not doing well.

If you could help with the Birthday Wishes, I would appreciate it as I doubt I will be on the boards for the next week. I felt badly missing Pony's birthday wishes, I have been really distracted with my mom's condition. Thanks so much and will be back when I can!!

Many many good wishes and prayers from me to your mom and to you and your family.

If I get a chance to be the birthday ambassador from time to time in the next week, you bet I will. If not, I'm sure there will be many others who will do so. Take care of yourself, and let us know how things are going when you can.

Susan - Your mom will be in my thoughts. I worked with the liver transplant coordinators at HUP - not sure if your mom is there but they have a great team. Thinking of you.
