Hey beanqueen

I am interested in the bean cookbook you mentioned in a recent post that had lots of info and pictures....we eat lots of black beans with tortillas, rice, etc., but would like to expand out horizions as we are slowly fazing out even chicken as something we cook in our home.

ANYWAY, I dont remember the post (I just read it this morning) but you mentioned the book and Id like the author to look for it in the bookstore http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Hi, Kim -

The author of The Bean Harvest Cookbook is Ashley Miller. Hope you enjoy the book as much as I do.

Some more good bean cookbooks (but without the pretty pictures) are:

- Jay Solomon, Lean Bean Cuisine.
- Patricia Gregory, Bean Banquets.
- Barb Bloomfield, Fabulous Beans.

All three of these are vegetarian (Miller's isn't).

Thanks for the info and FYI. It will probably work for us since we arent "vegetarians", just trying to get most of our protein from beans (high cholesterol).
