Has anyone else made this yet? I tried a search and didn't see any reviews......

We thought this was pretty good. Kind of an unusual appetizer and not necessarily filling, though. I served it along side two different kinds of cheeses and some sesame crackers. Heating up the fennel and olives really made the flavors jump out at you with each bite. Also, I paired it with an Avery Lane Riesling which seemed to work well.

The preparation was easy and quick so that's always a bonus. :)

This is on my menu in the near future ... along with Linguine with Potato Croutons and Olive-Almond-Orange Pesto from A Year in the Vegetarian Kitchen (Jack Bishop). I'm looking forward to it - glad it turned out well for you. The only thing I don't like is how expensive fennel is right now.

Thanks for the review! I've been looking for a reason to make this. My parents are coming for the weekend, so I think I'll have to try and work it in to the menu!

I'm making this tonight! Thanks for the review!

In my case DH doesn't like olives, so it'll be all mine, and because of that, I won't make a full recipe of it.
