Cardinals fan here, but OMG!! What a game! GO SOX! I thought for sure the Cardinals game would end before the Sox/Yankees game. Exciting!

I'm not even a baseball person, but I would like the Sox to beat the Yankees.

Hey Susan, that was some game, and so was the Astros. Maybe we'll get to see each other again, if the Astros and Sox end up playing each other;)

I plan on charging the medical bills for my ulcer back to the Red Sox. :D Holy cow, I don't think I can take much more of these marathon games- well, I guess I can take them as long as the RED SOX WIN!!!!!

Go Sox!!!!! Its a good thing that game started at 5 and not 8!

Am I the only one who thinks that the Fox announcers are biased against the Sox? When they showed that stupid broken heat picture and already were talking as if the game were over when the Yankees scored their 3 runs, I thought I was going to go nuts. I don't know, maybe I would think the opposite if I were a Yankees fan, but those guys drive me up a wall.

I'm glad Pedro won't be pitching again in this series though (I hope). He makes me a little scared.

Go Astros too!

OMG! I'm getting flashbacks to the emotional intensity of last year's ALCS. But I can't help being totally worried about Schilling's ankle. Can special shoes really be enough to return him to full power? Is he risking a truly serious injury? Hard to shake the specter of the Sports Illustrated curse.

Nevertheless, Go Sox! Thanks for the classic games!!:D

Part of me wishes they would just hurry up and lose so we can get on with our lives.:o

How am I supposed to get ANY studying done? I think all of the games should start at 5; that way we'll get to bed at a reasonable hour, like 11 or 12.

How 'bout that Schill! Bloody, stitched ankle, and he does it. And best of all, he credits The Big Guy Upstairs for giving hin the strength to compete.

I am sooo tired....

Rock on, Sox!

I'm with you. I'm beat. And here we go again tonight.

At least they kept it at 9 innings last night!

The Boston media thinks this as well. They also have some funny things to say about how bad Tim McCarver is. Then during last night's game Fox was wondering if the Yankees should try to bunt to make Curt run off the mound to field it on his bad ankle.

Sports talk radio offered the opinion this morning that if the Red Sox win tonight and lose in the World Series, it would still be OK because we would have come from behind in an 0 - 3 series and it was against the Yankees.

It is going to be truly unbearable if we don't win tonight after all that we've gone through. Even worse than last year.

I heard on the radio this morning that Boston made history last night, coming from 3-0 and forcing a game 7.

GO SOX! :)

I don't know, the Sox have come from so far behind these past few nights and have really kept it together. I am feeling much better than last year. They came so close to getting swept that this come from behind thing has been really great. I feel like even if they do loose tonight (which they won't of course) they've still done such an awesome thing coming from behind and not just handing the win to the Yankees. Ask me again tomorrow though.

I wondered the same thing about the world series. Will it be a let down? Who knows. If the Sox make it and then win the Series I will sure be happy!

On my way home from work tonight I'm stopping by the medical supply store to pick up a defibrilator:D Too many heartstopping moment in less than a week and I'm sure tonight will be no different.

I am feeling pretty positive (as opposed to last night, when I sat on the couch clutching my husband's knee yelling "they're gonna blow it, they're gonna blow it" after Foulk walked a batter to put runners on 1st and 2nd). As of this morning I hadn't read who was going to pitching for the Yankees, but I'm putting my trust in D Lowe. Hopefully Manny and Johnny Damon can find their bats tonight.

GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but even if they lose, they will still have done what no one thought they could do on Saturday.
