side dish with potpie

I a making the Cheddar-Asparagus potpie tonight and don't know what to serve with it. Any suggestions?

I served fruit salad with chicken pot pie last week and it was quite yummy. Unfortunately, not many great fruits are in season right now...

Schuh-Thank you for the suggestion. I made a Baked Curried Fruit that was delicious. It was a great accompaniment to the potpie which was WONDERFUL!!

Baked curried fruit? Sounds exotic...
Is the potpie from April? It doesn't ring a bell but sounds great.
