I spotted the CL truck

at our new HEB Woodlands Market. It was late tonight and the gal at the door told me it had been there all day (TH) and she thought it would be there again tomorrow (FR) (now today, but let's not confuse the issue). I am going to be running around all day and am not sure I will make it over there again, but thought some others in our area might want to check it out.

I got to talk to the truck people yesterday!

They're coming to my HEB on Halloween. I took y'alls advice and added some fun inside the store - a healthy living fari - the hottie chiropractor is going to do screenings (and I will flirt!), the gym guy is doing screenings, and the pharmacy will be doing diabetes and blood pressure screens. Plus the Clif Bar guys will be handing out stuff and the rest of the store will be promoing "natural" and " organic".

I'm still working on free in store massages.

Yes, I agree, and I was thinking of Kristin last night when I saw the truck. I didn't make it over there today. Everything I did took longer than I had hoped. I think we are ready for our pumpkin patch though.

I did get to see the CL truck a few years ago. I would say pretty much the same as I have read posted in the past, and it doesn't sound like it has changed much over the years -- just the sponsors and such. The people staffing the truck were kicking back at the end of the day -- no one else was there and they were getting ready to close up soon when I got there. I have the place to myself, and that was nice. ;)

Kristin, I think the way you are planning it as one of a number of featured events, it will be a real plus for the store and a boon to CL.
