I tried the Savory Onion Tart from the French section of the April '01 issue. I didn't have a tart pan and didn't want to make an entire recipe (only 2 of us) so cut the recipe in half and used 3 "individual" cheesecake pans (about 4"). That worked really well and it was cool to get individual servings of the tart. However, I found the crust to be tough which really detracted from the tart (perhaps I over-baked - although I did cut the time down). The filling was good. Reminded me I wanted to try the carmelized onion pizza that's been talked about. Due to the lengthy prep it's doubtful I'll make this again.
