Mushroom Hunting

Hi, This is too funny. I have a gals group that gets together once a month to do something together. We are going on a 'hunt' in May, for wild mushrooms, that is. I live in Northern Idaho so we are behind most places that are into Spring right now. I'll have to tell our 'mushroom gal' to take a look at the Oprah article. She's been doing it for 24 years and is definitely an expert but she may find it interesting. THanks for posting.

Hi.. There was a few gals that couldn't wait to go trumping through the woods.. to find delicious treasures ... and revisit their closely guarded secret places-- where they find their treasures!! Sounded wonderful..(not as exciting when not educated about mushrooms !!).. Anyway!! I told my husband -- he wasn't sure he wanted to be invited for dinner! lol! There is an article in Oprah Mag.. this month.. thought you would get a kick out of it!! I did! -- made me wanna go!! They mentioned the "Little Golden Book" which helped her identify the ones that were eatable.
