Still no April issue?

Am I the only one still waiting for my April issue? I called today and they said they were still being mailed and to call back if I didn't have it by the 7th!! I get all my other subscriptions on time. What's the deal?

Hummm...... I live in Pa. and have had mine for awhile now. Seems to be the biggest complain when it comes to CL. But of coarse if we weren't on these boards we might not be so aware!

Yes, I got mine early last month and noticed that many from PA hadn't gotten theirs yet. Our CL group is meeting on Sunday and I may not have my new one to choose new recipes from!

I got mine early (or at least early for me). In fact, I got it about one week after I got my March issue. Still withholding the happy dance until this happens (delivery the month prior) a couple of times in a row.

I don't have mine either!! I live in Virginia Beach. Some months they come very early and some very late - no pattern that I can pick up on.

I kept hoping it would show up in the mail today, but no such luck. I know at least one of the people in my CL club got hers, and she lives 10 minutes from me!

chefbec, I'll top that! I still haven't gotten mine and my friend in the same building as me--that's right exact same address just a different floor number--has had hers for about two weeks. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif

Ooh, that would really piss me off! Well, we just have to wait until the 7th and then we can all call and complain. How do you get the message icons inside your message (I'm not great when it comes to this stuff, so sorry if that's a stupid question!)

Hi - I live in Ma. I just got my issue yesterday. Yet friends at work received theirs a couple of weeks ago so go figure. I think someone once said it was in alpha order but who knows!

Well, you KNOW I'll be running to the door when I hear the mail tomorrow. I actually got to see the issue at our CL club dinner tonight (everyone had theirs except me http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/mad.gif ). I hope that smilie works (thanks LGBurns). Anyway, one of the women made the Carrot-Ginger Soup (from April) and it was excellent! Looked like there were lots of great recipes.

Well, it's not alphabetical because my friend's name is after mine in the alphabet (unless it's alphabetical by first name which I doubt). I think it's completely random. This is the first time I've had any problem with CL's delivery and I'm wondering if it has to do with my having ordered a gift subscription at the same address. Can't quite figure how that would cause a problem exactly--just paranoid I guess. Hope it's in the mail today since so many of you seem to have gotten yours in the last couple days.

I realize now that the magazine isn't considered late until the 7th, but I guess my question is "why is there such a huge difference in delivery dates, even within the same town"? You can't tell me that this is a post office problem.
