So - we're all buried under tons of candy. At least we are!

What's your preferred candy bar?

For me: Payday.

Just regular plain Hershey bars!

Did anyone else try the Halloween Kit-Kats? They were orange on the outside with chocolate wafers inside. OMG! They were awesome. Unfortunately (or fortunately for my thighs :)) I couldn't find them in the store and the kids didn't get any in their Halloween bags.

Milky Way Midnights!

And also loved the Shrek-size M & M's--the peanut ones were huge!:)

I threw away all the Almond Joys because no one in our house will eat them. Had I known, I could have sent them to Susan and Crystal!

I think my favorite are 3 Musketeer Bars. But I've never turned down chocolate yet (as long as it isn't polluted with COCONUT)

No, it can't be. Do I see some discrimination against coconut? ;)

Joanne, I'm glad you didn't send them my way. I have plenty of other tantalizing chocolates to keep me occupied. They call to me.

While technically not a candy bar, I really like Whoppers. We have an extra bag left over from Halloween, and I'm having a hard time resisting them!

The Reese's sticks are EVIL. I cannot resist them. Bad Gil, Bad!!!

Actually, since I'm the one in the office who has the office candy bowl, my bottom desk drawer is ALWAYS chock a block full of various mini candy bars. Some months I never touch them. Other months are just bad news.....

Not a candy BAR, but I LOOOOOOOVE M&Ms!! If I had to pick a bar, it would be plain ol' Hershey bars.

Thanks for reminding me - I stashed an extra bag of these at the back of my fridge. They were their as an emergency just incase we ran out of candy to hand out - well that's my excuse and I am sticking to it ;) . I love taking these mini bags to the movies.

Another vote for Mounds!! What could be better than dark chocolate and coconut? :D she says as she licks her fingers contentedly...;)

Junior Mints for me please. Mounds/Almond Joy (I don't distinguish--gasp:p ), Whoppers, or Kit-Kats are rather distant seconds.

I've been really enjoying the leftover Snickers Crunchers and m&m's. And I'll always have room for a kitkat!

I don't think anyone mentioned anything that wasn't CHOCOLATE!!
That is what I bought to give out, and unfortunately - the only leftovers were a few Nestle crunch bars. It is SAD when the kids are gone and there is no one to replenish the supply you give out!!
The kids always preferred the gross things like Skittles and Nerds - they could take or leave the chocolate. Their loss was my gain - Literally, but let's not go there.............

This is an EVIL thread. I actually avoided a month's worth of snickers and m&m's, etc. My downfall was miniature hersheys...the dark chocolate ones. At least I only ate four of those little tiny ones.

Special Dark...

Reeses and Hershey Kisses...

Nothing with nuts - although I used to suck the chocolate and coconut off the almond in the Almond Joy and then spit out the nut.

Do they still make Mars bars?

Lori

mbrogier

Yes, they still make Mars bars. They're not easy to find, although they're rumored to have more almonds (which means one) Snickers also makes a bar that has almonds instead of peanuts. I think that's supposed to replace the Mars in most markets. I think the Mars is my favorite. Its a good thing I can't buy them all the time.

I didn't buy any Halloween candy. I like Milky Ways (the midnights are the best, but I've never seen those in miniature) Snickers, Butterfingers, miniature Reeses, anything with almonds, Raisinets, and Whoppers. I did have candy corn, but I didn't even eat that. What's wrong with me? :(

:o And caramel. I forgot to add Twix.

Of course, if I really had my way, it would be a box of See's Nuts and Chews. How come nobody hands those out for Halloween? ;)

Mmm, See's! Just one more thing I miss from CA...Actually, a friend of mine sends me a box of Nuts & Chews every year for Xmas. I actually prefer the Soft Centers (I know, you're saying, "Ew, Gross!" :o ), but the Nuts & Chews are good too.

For Halloween, Snickers or Reese's is probably my favorite.
