It's such fun to be part of this board. I had a great birthday starting with breakfast that my family made into a fancy ordeal, went to a local high school football game as my neighbor was the star and then spent the afternoon cooking. I made stuffed cornish hens from a cookbook called Holidays. The sauce had 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup cream, bourbon and shallots. I almost licked the pan. I never ever cook high fat but what a treat.
