I have a pound of ground turkey in my fridge that either needs to be cooked tonight or frozen. I had originally intended to use it in a Hamburger Helper meal but I'm just not in the mood for that tonight.
I want to make a nice, light pasta side and a salad to go along with the turkey. I really like the superquick salisbury steak recipe from a couple months back but I don't have the ingredients to make this.
Any other suggestions?
Thank you!!

The grilled turkey burgers in the March issue looked good. I think there might be some meatloaf recipes using turkey too.
You could make meatballs using the spices called for in the cabbage rolls from the March issue and serve it over pasta with tomatoes. (I think the spices were cinnamon, cumin, and allspice)
Hi Heidi,
Since you're new around these parts, let me suggest you check out CL's recipe search as well as our our search mechanism on the bulletin board (upper right hand corner.) I'll bet you'll find suggestions in both places.
Since I personally remember posting a couple (neither are from CL however) I've pulled up the links from the archives. Check out http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/Archives/Archive-000001/HTML/20010301-1-000764.html

Good luck with your meal!

How about the yummy meatloaf in the March CL issue. I've already made it twice.

yeah, the turkey burgers were good...
i have used ground turkey in a CL Nacho recipe from Sep (?) 1999, Baked Egg Rolls from March 2001, and in some tacos from a few issues ago (just use taco seasoning and ground turkey instead of beef). hope this helps... http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
