Quick ? re: Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread

The recipe for the Chocolate Wave Zucchini Bread says to store it in the refrigerator. I'm wondering if that is necessary as I don't usually store quick breads in the refrigerator. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks.

It's probably just to retard mold... I wouldn't keep it in the fridge because it would dry it out. Just eat it fast! ;)

I would think you'd be fine to leave it out for a day or two. I usually slice mine and put it in a ziploc bag in the freezer right away, since it's easy enough to pop a slice in the microwave to defrost.
