There is an interesting article in today's WSJ about companies that claim they sell GMO-Free foods. The Journal gave various companies foods to an independent lab to test them and the majority were found to contain GMO ingredients, despite the package claims. One of the companies was Yves, and the post below about the soy dogs reminded me of today's article. Some of the companies interviewed said it's hard to be able to guarantee 100% GMO-free food when you're dealing with suppliers who also furnish materials to other food manufacturers. The article also discusses the Starlink corn, which was the subject of recent postings on this board.
I can't provide a link, unfortunately, because you have to pay to read the WSJ's articles on line. We get the paper delivered at home, so I only have the hard copy.
