A computer weirdity

Y'all, the strangest thing is happening. I have the majority of my recipes on the hard drive of my laptop, and I want to transfer them to the hard drive of my PC. I've tried to put them on floppy and to burn a CD, but these files won't go anywhere! I've tried other files to make sure my devices work, and they're just fine. I can't even create a new folder to move them to--access denied.

Anybody heard of this?

No,but I love the term "weirdity". I will definitely start using it.

Is the folder set to read-only? To find out, right click on the folder and choose Properties. Uncheck Read-Only if necessary.

Make sure you don't have Mastercook, or whatever program you use, open. That will create a lock on the files.
