When I put it back in the oven it says to cover the breast with foil and then put the thermometer in the thickest part of the breast...

It's Thanksgiving brain or something but what does this mean? :o

Do I just cover the breast with foil? Do I have to wrap it around? Then do I put the thermometer in the breast THROUGH the foil or underneath

I missed the AB episode. :(

Thanks!

I just made a little foil tent like it showed on the butterball website (roasting video), and I stuck the thermometer in first. This is my first turkey though, so I could be totally wrong!

my best advice: go into a peaceful, quiet place (even the powder room), take 10 deep breaths, and repeat, "it will be okay."

now, to the point: tent the breast loosely with the foil, and poke the thermometer through the foil.

next year, get yourself a $5 instant-read thermometer

LOL! Everything else is going perfect and I'm even able to relax...I just hit that one part of the recipe and could not for the life of me figure out what that meant!

Thank you!!
