I just got the CL 5 Ingredient, 15 Minutes Cookbook from half.com. Anyone have any favorites that you'd recommend?

Thanks
Karen

Karen---
Here's a link to some reviews already posted. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/Forum1/HTML/005097.html

I'm interested in any new feedback too--I think this is a terrific cookbook to use on those evenings when time is rushed, and I didn't do my meal planning.

My fave would have to be the cranberry/turkey melts. Don't know the page number...so easy and really tasty. My hubby and I decided that we'd like to try it with regular cranberry sauce instead of the cranberry/orange. The orange is a bit overpowering.

Hi Karen M,

THis cookbook was such a hit in our house during a really crazy time when cooking all but fell by the wayside (until we discovered this!) It also got my husband into the kitchen and cooking on his own!

Favorites:

Sunflower Orange Roughy
Grilled Honey-Balsamic Salmon
I'd forgotten about this one- I've just put it on the menu for SUnday night!
Cheesy Bean Casserole
Skillet Ziti and Vegetables
Mushroom Pizza
Chili Cornbread Pie
Deep Dish Pizza Casserole
Tex-Mex Pepper Steak
Pork Chops with Peacy Mustard Sauce
Balsamic Pork Chops
Pork Chops with Dijon Cream Sauce
Ginger Pork tenderloin
Fruited Morrocan Chicken
Pan Glazed Chicken with Basil

Bon Appetit!

Julie

We made the Southwestern Vegetable Bake a couple of times before we decided we just didn't like it- too runny-although it got me to try hominy in some other recipes.
