Hi. My name is Maureen and I am a cookbook addict. I recently made great strides in overcoming my need to read and purged my cookbook shelves. Now I am down to the bare essentials of about 100 books. I have also not bought a new book in almost a year relying on the library. I am getting the urge to splurge (sorry) and wanted to hear from others for whom cookbooks are a passion. Any NEW (2000-2001) books that you recommend. As a vegetarian who eats fish I like books with those kind of recipes. Baking, bread, soups- basically anything.
Thanks guys!!
P.S. I am still reading from the suggested books on the previous thread and will likely be doing so for quite a while. Books make me so happy!! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

I would love the name of that book Kim. (that is my daughter's name!) I am a substitute teacher at the elementary level. I have never taught full time-got my degree, had my kids right away and was a stay at home mum for many years. It is nice to keep my hand in teaching but don't know how people do it full time. They have my utmost respect and admiration. Are you a teacher?
