I ordered a gift for DH yesterday on Amazon. It was the best price that I had seen on line for a weather station - $188 for all the features I wanted to get. They were having a promotion where if you ordered $125 worth of merchandis from the kitchen store, you'd get $25 off your order. I also applied for the Amazon Visa for an additional $30 coupon.
I was given the $30 off, but it wouldn't accept the code for the $25 off. I was trying to find the information on the website to see if I could use both coupons or not. I couldn't find it anywhere. I sent an email to their Customer Service to ask them if I could use both since it wasn't accepting it when I tried to put it in (thought maybe I was doing something wrong). I placed the order anyway, with the $30 discount and free shipping (saved another $6.50 on that).
Amazon responded that the 2 coupons could not be combined, but that, after looking at my order, they were going to request a $25 refund on my credit card!
Great customer service. I figured we needed another good story around the holidays since I've seen some "bad customer service" stories lately! :)
