Grrr, the Wal*Mart ad at the top of the page is driving me NUTS! And the fact that a floating ad drops down a little farther is really irking me.

You know, I never see these ads.
You need a popup/ad blocker.
My new Firefox browser is really good at blocking those things out....

It's REALLY irritating me, too!!! I have a pop-up blocker that usually keeps me sane, but this one isn't stopped by it (I guess because it's not a true pop-up).

ARGGGHHH!!!

These are activated differently by a touch of your cursor. They're not really popups, they're a new wrinkle. The Internet Messenger did this last week too and it drove me nuts then!!

I had some strange ad appear today too. I never see these ads. I wondered if I had my mouse sitting at the wrong place as the page loaded. I'll definitely see if I can figure out what caused it so I don't have to see these things. These things are worse than telemarketers!

I also use FireFox, and I don't have any popup issues anymore. So far, not even with the newfangled pop-ups. The WalMart banner is up there, but it is completely still! I even refreshed and left my cursor sitting right over it, and I get nothing.

Death to pop-ups! :D

ARgh! Get rid of this thing! Awful.

I can't believe they think that sort of ad will encourage anything but frustration.

I didn't like firefox when I tried it in the spring... it was so slow. Have they upgraded it?

I don't really care about the bar at the top of the screen, but I'm getting really annoyed by the pop-up box. There's no "x" to close it, and it interferes with my entering my message onto the bulletin board. Grrrrr

It is still a little slow, but not too much more than IE can be. And the plus side is no more adds, no more pop-ups. I am a recent convert and am really liking it...

For those of you with pop-up blockers, have you checked your settings to make sure ad manager is enabled as well?

I've always thought that if I'm going to be there, I'm going to be armed, d**m it! No flag bearer or drummer -- if someone's coming at me with a gun, a bow, or a sword, I'm sure as he** going to have one of my own!

Hahaha! As an avid, longtime Mac user I have to laugh whenever PeeCee users complain about pop-ups and viruses. I've been using Safari, Apple's proprietary free Internet browser since they released the Beta version about 3 years ago. You push "open apple-K" on the keyboard if you want to block pop-ups and push it again if you don't. I have never seen a pop-up since I started using it. :D
