OK, I just got back from my second trip to Trader Joes. I bought 10 bags of Pirate's Booty and no one even blinked at seeing that many bags in my cart. I guess it's not that unusual! I also bought the fat free Jalepeno Monterey Jack cheese and the fat free Sharp Cheddar Cheese. Has anyone ever tried these? I thought I'd read a positive review on these before, but I couldn't remember. I haven't tried them yet.
But so far my 'find' of the day was the Meringue Cookies. I bought a container of the Lemon Meringue, (5 cookies 100 calories and 0 fat!) and a container of the Mint Meringues with mint chocolate chips in them. HEAVEN!! I can't believe I missed them before! If 5 of these don't take care of a sweet attack I don't know what will!!
Also bought the Trader Joe's Spicy Thai Peanut Sauce, as well as the Sesame Sauce, and I'm looking forward to mixing these with whole wheat pasta and veggies for a quick work lunch.
Anyone tried the Gimme Lean Sausage in the roll? I bought some and I'd like to try this with scrambled Egg Beaters for a lowfat breakfast burrito, but I was curious if anyone else liked the stuff!
All in all, a very productive trip to TJ's!!

Jewel, I am going this week, if I can fit it in! They have a wonderful eggplant/roast pepper sauce that is to die for! I use it as a salad dressing or in place of mustard in sandwiches!! Ohhh, I have been in withdrawal for the past month, sure wish they opened a store closer... Can't wait!!
And Pirate's Booty, a must!!

I was in San Francisco this week and one of the places I just had to visit was Trader Joe's. Unfortunately, I couldn't buy anything requiring refrigeration. It all looked so yummy. Instead, I bought 3 bags of Pirate's Booty. I'm sure people on the plane thought I was crazy.

The last time I was at TJ's I got the last 2 bags of booty! This stuff is like crack!
There is a 50% less fat Havarti cheese (2 pts/1oz for WW) that tastes good enough to eat on it's own...the litmus test for diet cheese IMHO.
Chicken Chow Mein (6 points/ 1/2 package) and chicken shu-mei (chinese dumplings, 5 points/8) were delish together for a dinner.
Small frozen pizzas (4 to a pack, 4.5 points each) were also yummy. They had fresh tomato slices, fresh basil and red onions on them.
Gnocci are also good.
A girlfriend of mine bought the FF Jalapeno Jack and we agreed that on it's own it didn't really cut it, but that it might be great in recipes.
The Chocolate Toffee Nuts are to die for. They are a roasted pistachio covered in toffee, dipped in chocolate and then rolled in powdered sugar. These are 4 points for 21 pieces which is a LOT of chocolate. These would be pretty to put in a dish after a dinner party.
I'm hooked!

In a previous TJ's thread, beccathebaker mentioned that the honey roasted soy nuts were good (and that even if you tried and disliked soy nuts before you should try these).
I am one of those "I will eat it if it is good for me - I'll get used to the taste" kind of folks, but I could not eat those regular salted soy nuts. Too hard and tasteless.
Anyhow, I bought them, and I am so glad. They are really good, not just palatable, but tasty! Thanks so much for the recommendation, Becca. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Jewel, We also love the ff jalapeno cheese.
The cheddar doesn't have too much taste and dh prefers the 75%ff Cabot cheddar. Have you tried the Yogurt cheese? Low fat and no cholesterol! That is our hangup, also he likes the lowfat Jarlsberg Swiss. Have you tried the lowfat sourcream? I use it for making frozen yogurt etc. I never eat crackers, but someone on this board mentioned the acmac crackers, I bought them, and they are now a favorite for the afternoon munchies!
