Reindeer Gingerbread Cookies

I'm not sure what thread these were on, but I thought I'd let folks know that, while they look adorable, those round cherry sour candies should only be glued on with icing if you want to use them for noses. They melt in the oven, and while some stay round and seem to "glow" some run over the edge and look like Rudolph has a bloody nose! :o :p

I had a bag of fairly large red hots -- about M&M sized, and they worked great too. We couldn't use M&M's because of a dairy allergy that nixes the chocolate as well as peanut allergies in other classrooms. Red hots work, and I thought they were adorable.
