April issue finally arrived!

My April issue came today too. And guess what? It's my first CL issue ever. I have been on the bulletin board and I have been using MasterCook and Cook Pacs for a few months now, but this is my first CL issue. Hooray!

Well, I just can't believe it. My April issue just came in the mail today. If anyone is still waiting http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif , if it doesn't arrive by the 7th of the month, call them. Hurray! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif Now I can start making all the recipes I've been drooling over on the BB! I still don't understand why the delivery is so varied.

ugh! i still didn't get mine! then when i went to the customer service part of the CL website where you can report missing issues, i kept getting an error message!! i sent CL an email reporting the problem and requesting my april issue (the phone wait time was over 3 minutes!) hopefully this will get resolved soon!

I called CL today (the wait time was over 8 minutes!) and guess why I didn't get my magazine? My subscription had expired! I couldn't believe it because I didn't remember getting any notice in the mail. Anyway, the customer service woman was very nice and said she would be sure my April issue was sent right away and renewed my subscription for two years (yay!). I had a feeling I should have called earlier because I have never had a problem with my magazine being late before. Oh well, ten more days to wait. I'll probably get my May issue only a couple days after my April one. LOL!

LGBurns, how on earth did you have the patience to wait for 8 minutes on hold with CL? i guess the april issue suspense was the motivator?!? i sent them an email, but then they responded that they'll take 5 days to respond. ugh! maybe i should try calling them again. also online, i checked and my subscription hasn't run out. but i will renew a little while before it's going to - i have found that they are very slow when it comes to renewals and payments...

I re-tried the website today to report a missing issue, and it worked. Except it gave me a message saying my subscription was extended 1 issue, and then i was confused - was that my consolation prize for not getting april? I WANT APRIL! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

So, LGBurns, after your awe-inspiring 8-minute hold, i decided to try calling again! I was told it was a 4-minute wait time, so I persevered (even though I didn't have speaker phone!), and it turned out to only be about a 1 minute hold time (i guess everyone else ahead of me got discouraged and hung up?). so after speaking with a real live person, i'm getting my april issue, and maybe possibly my subscription was extended. not bad!

8 mins? Yesterday I had to call a company about some stock info and the estimated waiting time was 23 mins...I waited 5 then gave up and found another #. But nowdays 8mins is not that bad. The other day to get help for my computer server took 6 tries and a holding time of 15 mins.
