The trick is to hold the mouse button down the second time until you are ready to release. Hubby is trying to hit the reindeer in the butt right now.

Thank you. Now I've at least managed to get him around 120. But still no sign of the reindeer!

Hmmm. Should I have put a disclaimer on this thread - that the game is really stupidly addicting? :D My strategy had nothing to do with the snowbanks in the back ... I tried that for a while and kept confusing myself. Instead, I just keep Santa wound up for as long as possible (without driving the catapult backwards) and releasing just as the end is in sight ... :)

How do you keep him wound up, though? I tried that and it says I didn't release him soon enough. I know that the top of his hat can't touch the ground or I get that message. I start to pull him back at a certain point. I did see the whole reindeer, but I haven't hit him yet.

I'm sure my boss would love to know my santa strategy
