Yup, I wore out my food processor. Acutally, it was my mom's - a couple of years ago I convinced her that since I had never seen her use it in the past ten years, I could put it to better use. And I have. I use it very regularly, and hence my current predicament.

The plastic that holds the blade on that thing that spins it (very articulate today, I am) broke. So I need a new one. Apparently they don't sell them at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Anyone have any suggestions for where I can buy a new one?

Check out http://www.cuisinart.com - they have a parts/accessories link. Maybe you can find what you need there.

Good luck! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

When I put that particular piece down the garbage disposal a few years ago, I called Cuisinart and they sent me a new one for a reasonable fee. (This was before I had internet access). I would imagine the web site would also help you out.

You can also try Ebay, although it tends to have big sets of attachments. Mine is old and they didn't make the part anymore butI did find one on Ebay. It has a shopper feature where they notify you if what you are looking for comes up.
