Another of those simple CL recipes with only a handful of ingredients that turned out DELICIOUS!
Probably the only change I made was using more than 3 ounces of prosciutto as called for, and it probably wasn't as thinly julienned as recommended.

OK, what's gomiti? I think I missed this recipe. Is it part of the pasta section?
I've been intrigued by broccoli rabe lately & want to try it! Must find way to sneak it in for DH w/out him knowing that it's related to broccoli. I typically call all greens "spinach" but he's catching on to that :-)

I would love to make this, but have yet to find broccoli rabe in this part of the world. Sometimes when I ask for it I am shown the brocolli. Oh well, this does sound like a great recipe!

Susan, gomiti is a type of pasta, which I've never heard of either. The notes to the recipe indicate it's like a small macaroni-type pasta; I just used small, penne-like pasta. The broccoli rabe doesn't taste much at all like broccoli; lightly cooked, it's a rather bitter green, but in this recipe, it cooks a lot longer, so it's not nearly so bitter. I was also a little generous with the red pepper flakes, so the heat from that overpowered anything off-tasting from the broccoli rabe.
Karen, broccoli rabe is also known as rapini; you might have luck looking for it by that name. Though Cook's Thesaurus (www.foodsubs.com) lists several substitutes, I'm not sure there really is an adequate substitute.

Here's a picture of it. I know I have bought it in the past, but don't remember it called Gomiti or Gomiti Rigate.
