I am sure I read here of some crockpot/ slow cooker recipes for cooking dried beans. But my searches have been fruitless.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for some recipes (or links)? Specifically, I am looking for how to cook baked beans in the slow cooker
TIA

First off, I don't think it will work. Beans cooked in the crockpot don't lose any of their liquid. i have cooked dried beans and while they were delicious, they had to be drained after..

Second, I knew I discussed this with someone here before. Here is my previous response:
Okay, i did some more searching and the general concensus is that the baked beans either need to be finished in the oven or on high to get rid of a lot of the liquid. I found this comment attached to a different recipe:
What I did do though was add everything up until the minced garlic plus the bay leaf in my crock pot with the dried beans. I let these cook on low for ten hours. When I got home from work I added all of the other ingredients and threw them in a baking dish and baked on 325 for about one hour (covered with most of the cooking liquid).
So If you are going the crockpot route, looks like low for 10 hours and then put it on high with the lid off. Or High 5 hours, then remove the lid so the juices can evaporate. Or put it in the oven for an hour to finish it.
Hopefully someone who has actually done it will have some input.
editing to add:
I also found these instructions on-line (cooks.com)
Cover navy beans with water and soak overnight. Drain; add fresh water to just cover. Bring to boil; simmer about 1 hour, until skins crack. Place beans and liquid in a slow cooker. Add chopped onion, molasses, brown sugar, bacon pieces, salt and dry mustard. Liquid should cover beans. Cook on high for 6 hours. Cook on low until needed.

I second the Slow Cooker Red Beans and Rice. It's the only time I've ever cooked dried beans, let alone in a crockpot and we loved it. Of course, I think it's the sausage in it that really gives it a good flavor and keeps it from being too liquidy.

Thanks for the input, everyone!
Guess I'd better stick to the tried and true stovetop method.
