Can't open Mastercook!

I can't open my Mastercook version 6.2. It worked fine yesterday but today I got a runtime error message, that the program was improperly shut down. I ran a virus scan, no virus. I uninstalled Mastercook and tried to reinstall it but still have the same message. I tried doing a system restore to an earlier point but that didn't help either. All of the other programs seem to work fine.

Anyone have any ideas how to fix it?

I'm not an expert, either, but I've had that happen.:(
One of the things I had to do was to go in to "exploring" and delete all leftover MC files. For some reason when you uninstall, everything doesn't get deleted.

I did what you suggested Chocolate Rose and that worked. I can't seem to find my latest files anymore though. It seems that in trying to get the recipes back from the backup file I had created, it copied 3 sets of folders one inside the other. Don't ask me how I managed that, but I did. I know my latest files are in there somewhere, so I will have to search around to see where O where I put those latest folders. At least now Mastercook is working. The back up I used was about 1 1/2 months old, so I still have a lot of my recipes. I still haven't mastered the art of the back up. I just may have to upgrade to version 8 which apparently makes it a lot easier.
