We had this for dinner tonight. It went together in no time at all and the onions, fennel and sausage flavors blended together well. I was concerned that 1/4 cup of tomato paste and the reserved pasta water would not make much of a sauce but it worked well. The only change I made was decreasing the crushed red pepper by 1/2 and that was plenty spicy for us. Not a fancy dinner, but quick, tasty and filling.
